2021Le lancement des skis Norrøna
En 2021, Norrøna a élargi son univers dédié au ski en lançant une collection spécifique articulée autour des gammes de produits lofoten, lyngen et tamok.
Plutôt que de simplement ajouter des skis à sa gamme, l’entreprise a entrepris de créer des équipements reflétant les mêmes principes de qualité, de fonctionnalité, de design et de responsabilité qui guidaient la conception de ses vêtements depuis des décennies.
To achieve this, Norrøna partnered with Norwegian ski craftsman Endre Hals and his boutique ski brand EVI, where skis were handcrafted in a small factory housed inside a barn in Oppdal, Norway.
Combining traditional craftsmanship with modern engineering, the collaboration resulted in a series of highly specialized skis designed for the distinct skiing styles represented by the famous Norwegian mountain regions of Lofoten, Lyngen, and Tamok.
The project embodied Norrøna’s belief that the best products are created by passionate users and makers working closely together, and brought Norwegian ski manufacturing back into the heart of the mountains where the products were meant to be used.
