In 2027, Norrøna announced the opening of Andørja, the first lodge in an ambitious new adventure travel concept.
Scheduled to welcome its first guests in the summer of 2027, the lodge is located on the spectacular island of Andørja in Northern Norway, where more than 20 mountains rise over 1,000 meters directly from the sea.
Designed for guests seeking world-class outdoor experiences, Andørja combines adventure, architecture, premium service, and exceptional cuisine.
Visitors can explore the island year-round through hiking, skiing, trail running, paddling, climbing, Northern Lights and wildlife experiences, and other nature-based activities before gathering around Norrøna’s signature Arctic Fusion menu, featuring locally sourced ingredients prepared with a distinctly Nordic touch.
Andørja represents the first chapter of a much larger vision.
Through The Arctic Voyage, Norrøna aims to connect a growing collection of lodges across Northern Norway via the region’s historic sea routes, creating a one-of-a-kind travel experience that blends extraordinary landscapes, unforgettable adventures, remarkable food, and distinctive architecture.
The concept brings together nearly a century of expertise in premium outdoor equipment with a new generation of adventure travel. Following Andørja, the next lodge planned for the Arctic Voyage network will be Risvær in the Lofoten archipelago, opening later in 2027.
