Welcome to møre

Sunnmøre, western Norway. Four seasons in a day. Couloirs that look like Mordor. This is where the Norrøna Møre collection was born.

This spring, professional free skiers Asbjørn Eggebø Næss, Petra Ohlson, Emil Leenderts, Benjamin Forthun and Fien Van Zwieten headed to the jagged peaks and fjords of Sunnmøre for a final field testing session — entirely foot-powered. Every peak skinned. Every descent earned.

The Norrøna Møre collection is built to hit the sweet spot between uphill and downhill performance: lightweight, durable technical ski and snowboard apparel for progressive freeride and ski touring, inspired by Norway's west coast mountains. The crew tested the full collection on splitboards and touring setups across some of Sunnmøre's most committing terrain — including the infamous "Mordor" couloir, a deep, high-walled chute where snowpack assessment and mountain experience matter more than gear. When conditions turned, they turned back. That's the call experienced alpinists make.

The standout piece: the Møre Thermo60 Aero200 Jacket — a technical ski touring mid-layer with removable sleeves that converts from a full jacket to a vest. PFC-free water-repellent treatment, helmet-compatible storm hood with one-hand adjustment, articulated elbows and a longer back cut for powder protection. Built for the reality of ski touring: hot on the skin track, cold on the ridge.
