Search & rescue - Extreme user product development
When accidents happen in Norway's most unforgiving alpine terrain, the Norwegian Alpine Rescue Groups (NARG) step in. Take an inside look at their extreme ice climbing rescue training and how our close collaboration shaped the Trollveggen Pro Rescue series.
If you fall, get injured, or find yourself stuck in steep mountains or on glaciers, NARG is the team that comes to the rescue. Composed of highly skilled mountaineers, these dedicated volunteers assist the Norwegian police and the Joint Rescue Coordination Centres (JRCC) during high-risk rescue operations that demand specialized skills and uncompromising equipment.
In this video, go behind the scenes of an intensive ice climbing rescue exercise. Discover how our partnership with NARG operates on the ground and learn about the rigorous field-testing and development process that led to the creation of the Trollveggen Pro Rescue collection.
