Goal 1Zero carbon footprint

  • Our company will be carbon neutral by 2029.
  • We commit to using specific science-based targets to measure our greenhouse gas emissions across our whole value chain.
  • We will offset our carbon footprint with Co2 quotas on the way towards becoming carbon neutral.

Roadmap

Discovering and prioritizing projects which will contribute to reducing our emissions is one of the most important, and simultaneously complex projects we do in our journey towards 2029.

This report outlines Norrøna Sport’s estimated 2025 emission results using the best available data obtained. Reported via our membership in the Swedish Textile Initiative for Climate Action (STICA), air freight numbers include a Radiative Forcing Index (RFI) of 2.7. Due to the ongoing war in Ukraine halting rail transit to Europe, a forced reliance on volatile air freight caused us to miss our carbon reduction targets. Consequently, transportation footprint exceeded material use for the first time in company history. We share these figures to maintain complete transparency regarding our sustainability status and future climate efforts. Please contact our customer service team with any questions.
