Step up your winter game with our tamok insulated Jacket. With the classic western denim jacket in mind, we designed a functional, stand-out insulation piece for riders who’s not willing to compromise on looks nor performance.
With no heavy storms in sight, this can easily be worn as an outer layer, keeping you warm and protected from wind and light snow. The jacket has recycled nylon outer fabric, and insulation with wool - a bit thicker on the torso than the arms.
The collar is made in comfy corduroy and can be buttoned up for extra protection when riding or on cold down days. We’ve kept a classic button adjustment in the hem and a zip solution on the cuffs if you’re in for more ventilation or a casual rolled-uparms kind of look.
Other practical features include two chest pockets, hand warming pockets and inner pocket, and an extra zip underneath the buttoned front which will conceal and provide extra warmth and protection when needed.

Recycled Nylon Face
Recycled nylon comes from used fishing nets, post‐industrial waste fiber and yarn collected from spinning and processed into reusable nylon fiber. The benefits of recycling nylon come from the reduced energy needed to produce the final fiber, reduced dependence on oil, and the diversion of waste from landfills. We consider it recycled when the fabric consists of 50% or more of recycled raw materials.
CSR goal for other synthetics
Norwegian Wool Insulation
Norrøna continuously strives to improve the function and sustainability of our products. In order to get the best combination of sustainability and performance this product was developed with a C0/NFC finish which means we removed the fluorocarbon chemistry (PFC) from the water repellent treatment. Unfortunately this may temporarily cause “chalk marks” or visual irregularities on the surface of the fabric, but it will disappear after the first wash and it does not effect the performance of the product.
Bluesign® Approved Fabric
The independent bluesign® system pursues the unique approach to minimize the environmental impact of materials throughout the production process. The so-called Input Stream Management ensures that all during the textile production process applied substances and raw materials are already verified in advance of the production. The system focus guarantees the application of sustainable ingredients in a cleaner process that reduces water and air emissions, improves its waste water treatment and generally reduces its ecological footprint.
