<p>This jacket is the result of development started in 2005 with explorer and ambassador Børge Ousland. By combining Ousland’s decades of expedition experience with our 90 years of product development, we have created the ultimate piece for arctic expeditions.</p> <p>We chose GORE-TEX® PRO in this product because it’s the world-leading quality for durable waterproofness (28,000mm), optimized breathability, and total windproofness.</p> <p>The main fabric is a 70D GORE-TEX® PRO most breathable with a 100% recycled nylon face and a 100% nylon solution dyed backer.</p> <p>Main features include: A special snorkel hood that creates an air pillow to protect you from the harshest elements. Customized 3D pullers for easier grip when using mittens. The waist adjustment traps air to provide extra heat around the vital organs, and the elastic cord in the back can be attached to a push button in the front to keep the jacket in place regardless of wind and weather. It has several Velcro® pockets and a fid lock closure on the collar to make it easy to handle with gloves/mittens.</p> <p>This jacket has a regular fit with a long, protective cut. In addition, the arms are pre shaped to ensure good mobility and comfort.</p>
