Great Skis!

I took advantage of the ski rental programme that Norrona offers to try the 172 Lofoten skis. I enjoyed very much skiing with those. I tried them in powder, icy, and crusty snow in Haukelifjell for three days. They turn very quickly and offer good floatation. At 1400 g/ski, they are light enough for touring and were a pleasure to ski down. They turn also quickly and easily. They might feel a bit light, but you can add weights on them (on the front and back of each ski). All in all, the skis check many boxes. One con: the price is a bit high... otherwise I might have bought a Lofoten ski pair right away. But I am thinking of buying a pair of Lofoten skis!

Had the opportunity to try this ski last winter in different conditions and it was love at first sight. This is exactly the kind of ski that I'm looking for. Light enough for a long day ski touring and wide and stable enough for deep powder days when you just want to charge. Used it to summit Galdhøpiggen wich was one of the highlights of the winter.
