Perfect midlayer!

I bought this jacket to wear while skate skiing, but I now reach for it when ski touring, heading out on dawn or dusk patrol up the ski mountain, or snowshoeing/hiking. The jacket manages to be both warm but also able to release heat when I most need it. The fit is slim, but it allows great range of motion, thanks to the stretch in the side panels. I also bought one for my son, and he uses it every day for alpine skiing. Highly recommend!

Maybe using it in too warm weather

Bought this jacket for winter running / trail running as top layer. Having used this jacket in the temperatures between 10 C - 0 C and I'm having difficulties in layering under it. As the jacket is not windproof it requires something more than just a t-shirt under it. Using a light merino long sleeve under, for me, is too hot. The moisture (sweat) transportation from inside to outside works great but after the surface is wet it will not keep any moisture outside. While trail running and brushing of some wet branches the water will penetrate to the base layer. The jacket also started to show some wear and tear on its sides just after a few times of use. Waiting for colder weather to see if it would perform better in high output activities. If you run hot and sweat a lot I would not recommend this jacket for you, but as a mid layer in general use it works great and keeps one warm.
