Great jacket, but doubtful quality

I bought this a month a go. I have previously owned the same jacket bought 6 years ago. I immediatly noticed that the quality is different. The jacket is much thinner, and seems to be bad quality compared to the price. I noticed they dont use “GORE TEX PRO” and now they just use regular “GORE TEX” - but price is still higher. I no longer recommend the jacket.

I LOVE this jacket! I bought it a size bigger for resort offpiste/pow and looks. 57 yo but young at heart. Love the way it looks. Love its features, esp the front ventilation and big old anorak style front pockets. My son later got himself a Lofoten and had it been available in this old style anorak colorways, I’d bought that instead. But this is perfect still. I replaced a poor quality Stellar Equipment jacket/pants with this and pants, hoping the Norrøna to be as stellar as my old Tierra combo was (lasted 18 years but was mostly out of style and fit, not function)
