I've been using them in summer and fall and the wind stopper keeps you warm even when the temperature drops a bit. I always carry dry backup gloves for when I stop/rest when cold.

This is my second pair. Forgot the first pair at the country cabin, and just could not manage a couple of weeks without the gloves. Had to buy a second pair. Great fit, and they keep we warn and dry when I trailrun, even when it is minus 10-12 degrees.
