About

Norrøna Sport AS, Vollsveien 13h, 1366 Lysaker, Norway ("Norrøna") is responsible for the processing of your personal data in relation to the management and maintenance of norrona.com.

If you have questions about how we handle your personal data, you can contact our Data Protection Officer at dataprotectionofficer@norrona.no.

What cookies are

We use cookies on our website, norrona.com. A cookie is a small text file sent to your browser and placed on your computer, tablet or mobile device when you visit a website. It can be used to remember information about your visit and may, for example, be used to remember your preferences, such as language settings.

Norrøna uses cookies to enhance and simplify your visit. The use of cookies also helps us monitor the use of our website and improve our services. We do not use cookies to store personal information unless you have given us consent to do so, nor do we use cookies to disclose personal information to third parties.

We may share cookie data with advertising partners to measure and analyse the use of the website and our marketing activities. This data is not used to identify you personally, but to evaluate your usage pseudonymously.

There are two types of cookies: permanent cookies and temporary cookies (also called session cookies).

Norrøna uses permanent cookies to, among other things, keep you signed in to your account, remember the products on your wish list and save your shopping bag. Permanent cookies are stored as a file on your device for no longer than 12 months.

Norrøna uses session cookies to make product filtering work, to check whether you are signed in, and to remember the products you have added to your shopping bag. Session cookies are stored temporarily and disappear when you close your browser session.

We use so-called third-party cookies to collect statistics in aggregate form in analysis tools such as Google Analytics and Hotjar. The cookies used are both permanent and session cookies. These permanent cookies are stored on your device for no longer than 24 months.

Your cookie choices

When you first visit norrona.com you are asked to choose which categories of cookies you accept. Only strictly necessary cookies are set before you make that choice. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by opening your cookie preferences.

You can also remove or control cookies through your browser settings. You may, for example, remove all cookies or choose to receive a notification each time a new cookie is sent to your device. Please be aware that restricting cookies may affect how the website works, as many of its interactive functions depend on them.

See every cookie we set

The cookies we use change over time, so instead of a static list here we keep one live list that is always current — including the cookies norrona.com sets itself.

Open your cookie preferences to see every cookie we currently set, what it is used for and how long it lasts.

These cookies may be used for the purposes of all current and future companies in the Arktis Holding group (currently Norrøna Sport AS, Norrøna Retail AS, Norrøna Production AS, Norrøna Adventure AS).

We use Cookie Information, a Google-certified Consent Management Platform, and we operate on Google Consent Mode v2. See the Cookie Information Privacy Notice.
