Oppdatert versjon av vår mest allsidige vanntette og
pustende helårsjakke til herre. Lett nok til sommerbruk og
solid nok til vinterturer. Denne jakken er utviklet for
all slags fjellsport, året rundt. Laget i et spesialutviklet
GORE-TEX®-stoff med en komfortabel, lett
børstet innside og høy pusteevne. Passformen er
relativt kort, og kritiske detaljer inkluderer lange
ventilasjonsåpninger under armene, lommer plassert
over hoftebeltet, stormhette tilpasset hjelm samt
asymmetrisk ermeavslutning for bedre værbeskyttelse.
Vi anbefaler å plassere mobiltelefonen i den
tiltenkte innerlommen, for å hindre fuktskader.
Vanntetthet: min. 28 000 mm*
Pusteevne: Utmerket, ned til 9 RET
Vindtetthet: 100 %
* ISO 811-test

Skyll plagget to ganger om mulig.

Minimalistic and short shell with a fantastic hoodNorrøna promotes the falketind as their all-year, all purpose shell and that is a good description for it.
The jacket got an athletic fit with nice and long arms and extra room in at the shoulder/pit area. Ideal for movement and layering. Far better than other brands.
I'm 177cm and 55kg and the XS leaves me enough room for a baselayer and a light midlayer without impeding movement.
The hood is also a strong selling point as it is large enough to accommodate a climbing helmet without feeling massive and uncontrollable without one. It offers excellent protection with it's hardened brim without impairing peripheral vision.
It's not perfect though. For one, the outer pockets are placed well so you can easily access them while wearing a pack's hip belt, but they are long and narrow so it limits what you can pack in there. And with little room below the zip's end makes it feel insecure if you happen to forget to close them again.
The inner pocket is also not very good. It's too small for a modern phone so you are limited to few accessories.
And second is the length of the jacket in the front. It's short, very short and practically all my midlayers whether it be a primaloft jacket or a fleece peaks out from below the hem in the front.
I would have liked a slightly longer front as the back is perfect length.
Lastly I've noticed a bit of delamination on the cuffs. It's not enough to warrant contacting customer service, at least not yet.

Awesome jacketAwesome quality and super fast delivery. Great service. The jacket is shorter at the front compared to the backside. Keep that in mind but it fits well with down jackets as a shell.

So greatI used this Jacket in many different types of weather, during my trekkings in Tasmania ; Tassie is reputed for her changing weather and this Gore-Tex is just the good choice : Handy, light, so well defined, top materials and adaptable to all weather conditions.

Great Light weight 3-layer JacketI have this shell for around 1 year, so far so good.
I bought it cuase I need one jacket not so serious (80D, Gore-tex PRO, bombproof but noisy).
I need one jacket that is 3-layer (I don't trust 2 layer or so-called 2.5 layer cause my experience it is totally cann't GURANTEE WATERPROOF which GORE advises), with underarm zips , with hand warm pockets, looks good, black or grey cause I plan to use it in the city and some light trekking.
You will find it's quite funny cause there is quite few products meet my demand.
About the jacket, relatively soft and quiet, nice cut, the front is short which is seldom seen on Norrona's product which is great cause I am not a tall guy.
Had walked in rains several times and I was totally dry.
2 improvemets expetected
Inside pocket could be larger to hold IPHONE 7 PLUS.
The main zipper shall be YKK vislon instread of coil zipper cause Vislon is much better and last longer.
I am 178 cm and 78KG and I wear the M.

Super light!I bought this jacket couple months ago. I've been using it for ski-touring and skiing and planning to use it in the summer time as well for hiking and just as a streetwear when for example travelling etc. This is a jacket you will want if you are looking for one that will do it all.

This jacket endures it all!Bought this jacket 3 years ago for a wintertrip to Iceland and used it as an outer layer for beter protection against the elements. I've never went on another trip without it.
The amount of rain it can withstand is insane, it truly is wind- and waterproof. Thanks to the zippers underneath the armpits, it's a handy piece of gear in every season.
Wore this during monsoons in Asia, Alpine storms and in windy Iceland. Very easy to pack for hikes, daytrips and in my case, mountainbike rides.

A really good jacket!I bought the Falketind in December 2017, after a recommendation from a friend who spends a lot of time in Swiss Alps. He advised Falketind as a good all round jacket.
I'm 183cm tall, around 90kg. I have a pretty wide chest, and it could be slightly wider, but I don't find it uncomfortable. Usually I wear a t-shirt and a Prima Loft midlayer. It's windproof, waterproof, the sleeves are long, hood is big and easy to adjust. It's quite short in front, but it depends on your preference. When I wear jeans it ends up just below the belt, so it's easy to access pockets. For some it might be too short but it depends on preference.
I own a Lofoten Anorak for women and the greatest thing is that it zips into the Lofoten pants for women.
Is that also possible with this jacket although it is a falketind product and also a male product?
Thank you in advance!

The Falketind range of products does not come with a powderskirt, so it will not be possible to zip it to the Lofoten Pants.

Hi guys, I want buy this jacket, my question is: can I use it also for skiing in powder and also in slopes? Obviusly I will use it in ice climbing walking in winter and summer. I have another question, can I match also your powder zip with falktind pants?

Firstly the Norrona stuff is really beautifully made almost too beautiful to be crashing through trees in the back country, It so light I'm terrified of ripping it. That said it takes a beating and I've not had any problems yet. For touring and regulating temperature across 4 seasons it is brilliant and I'm really pleased. On the piste it looks rocking with bamboo green zips on grey pants matched to Bamboo green jacket, but thats upside. Great kit

could you be so kind and specify what gore material this jacket is made of? Is it c-knit? And if so, how does it compare in terms of breathability to gore pro? Kind regards, Rich

Is the 20 denier rating really 4 times less in terms of thickness or density compared to your 80 rated jackets? I am getting a replacement jacket from you after my Roldal was lost by Norrona's factory when it went for water test. Roldal is 75 rating.
