The Lofoten 28L Pack excels as a backcountry/resort skiing backpack, offering excellent storage for safety gear, extra layers, and food. Reviewers consistently praise its comfortable fit, especially the women's hip strap design, which effectively distributes weight. While also suitable for day hikes and cross-country skiing, its primary strength lies in backcountry/resort skiing, as evidenced by multiple reviews specifically mentioning its use in this activity. The pack features well-designed pockets and convenient access points for on-the-go needs. Some minor criticisms include the narrow interior pockets (whose purpose remains unclear) and slightly difficult-to-operate buckles with gloves. Overall, the Lofoten 28L is a durable, high-quality pack recommended for skiers seeking a comfortable and functional pack for backcountry or resort adventures. Its thoughtful design and positive reviews make it a strong contender for anyone prioritizing comfort and organization on the slopes.
