The Finnskogen Gore-Tex Infinium Gloves are primarily designed for hunting, as evidenced by the overwhelming majority of reviews highlighting their performance in this activity. They offer a snug, comfortable fit with excellent dexterity, particularly beneficial for operating a rifle or shotgun. The leather palms provide a secure grip, and the trigger finger openings allow for precise shooting. These gloves excel at protecting against wind and moisture, making them ideal for milder hunting conditions (between 0-10°C). However, they lack insulation and are not suitable for very cold temperatures (below -5°C).
Beyond hunting, users have found them useful for photography, thanks to the tactile feel and trigger finger access for camera controls. Some reviewers also mention using them for general outdoor activities like hiking and skiing.
While generally praised for their comfort and functionality, some criticisms include durability concerns regarding stitching and a negative experience with warranty service. The price point is also considered high by some.
Recommendation: The Finnskogen Gore-Tex Infinium Gloves are recommended for hunters and outdoor enthusiasts who prioritize dexterity, wind and water resistance in milder conditions. They are particularly well-suited for those who require a precise feel and grip while handling firearms or camera equipment. However, those needing warmth in very cold weather or seeking a budget-friendly option should consider alternatives.
