2008The first bitihorn collection

Introduced in 2008, Norrøna bitihorn brought a lighter, more versatile approach to outdoor clothing.

Designed for hiking, general outdoor use, and faster-paced activities such as trail running, the collection combined low weight with functionality and freedom of movement.

It was named after the iconic Mt. Bitihorn near Beitostølen – a mountain region with deep personal ties to Norrøna owner and fourth-generation leader Jørgen Jørgensen, whose family roots are there and who still spends much of his free time exploring the surrounding mountains.
