In 2025, Norrøna teamed up with the iconic sports car manufacturer Porsche to create a unique collection inspired by a shared passion for performance, innovation, and timeless design.
Centered around Norrøna’s legendary lofoten freeride collection, the collaboration brought together two brands with deep roots in craftsmanship and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
The partnership grew out of a dialogue between fourth-generation Norrøna owner Jørgen Jørgensen and Porsche’s Head of Design, Michael Mauer, who discovered Norrøna while skiing in St. Moritz in Switzerland.
Both brands found common ground in the idea that great design should be clean, functional, and built to perform under demanding conditions.
More than a product collaboration, Porsche x Norrøna became a celebration of two companies that, despite operating in very different worlds, share many of the same values: premium quality, technical innovation, strong heritage, and an uncompromising focus on creating products designed to last.
As Jørgensen famously put it, “the Norrøna lofoten collection is our version of the Porsche 911.”
