In 2010, Norrøna began a close collaboration with the Norwegian Alpine Rescue Groups, NARG (Norsk Alpine Redningsgrupper).
Beyond supplying technical clothing and equipment, the partnership created a valuable platform for product innovation and field testing.
Operating in some of the most demanding mountain environments imaginable, NARG’s rescuers provided real-world feedback that helped refine garments, features, and technical solutions.
The collaboration reflected Norrøna’s long-standing belief that the best outdoor products are developed alongside the people who depend on them when conditions – and consequences – are at their most extreme.
