In 1982, the Norwegian adventurer Ragnar Thorseth and his expedition team reached the North Pole by snowmobiles, completing one of the era’s most ambitious Arctic adventures.
While such a journey might be viewed differently today, at the time it was regarded as a bold and groundbreaking expedition that demanded exceptional determination, navigation skills, and endurance in one of the harshest environments on Earth. The team relied on Norrøna tents, clothing, and equipment throughout the journey, putting the products through a demanding real-world test in extreme polar conditions.
