In 2003, Norrøna introduced a new way of organizing its products by grouping them into collections named after iconic Norwegian destinations, beginning with the narvik collection.
The concept connected each product family to a specific landscape, climate, and outdoor activity, creating a stronger link between design and real-world use.
More than a naming system, it reflected Norrøna’s belief that the rugged mountains, fjords, forests, and coastlines of Norway are among the best testing grounds for outdoor equipment in the world.
