Together with the Norwegian climbers Per Ludvig Skjerven, Gunnar Karlsen and Einar Wold, Robert describes how he spent over 30 days on a massive rock wall before reaching the summit back in 1999. Over 20 years later, this story is still considered one of the greatest achievements in Norwegian climbing history.

2017The Gessnertind Expedition, Antarctica
In 2017, Robert Caspersen, Ivar Tollefsen, Ole Ivar Lied, and Trond Hilde returned to Antarctica with the goal of climbing Gessnertind, one of the remote and little-visited peaks of Queen Maud Land.
