This special down jacket (Women's Medium: 966g) is developed to handle the hardest of conditions out there, specifically for belaying in cold and/or wet conditions during climbing and mountaineering. It works great for all outdoor activities and ski touring, as well.
We use our dri2 hydrophilic PU membrane because it is highly waterproof and breathable, with a 20k water column.
The main fabric is 94% 40d recycled Nylon with a 6% ripstop in Vectran, 88g/m2. The lining is 20d recycled Nylon plain weave, 35g/m2. The main insulation is 800fp Grey duck down with ExpeDry finish. It features a C0 DWR, is RWS & GRS certified. It has strategic 2nd insulation with thermo80 (80g/m2) and thermo160 (160g/m2) (Pinneco Mantle B) in places such as shoulders, elbows, the bottom baffle in the back, and cuffs.
Key features include a standard, helmet-compatible hood, one napoleon pocket, two mid-mountain hand pockets, and two large stretch "dump" pockets. It has elasticated cuffs with internal stretch cuff for a snug fit, and an adjustable hem with full circumference adjustment inside the pockets. The jacket is longer in the back and has articulated sleeves. It features a box construction with 350g down fill.
