Minna Riihimaki is a force of nature who defies easy categorization. Originally from the flatlands of Lappeenranta, Finland, she followed her fascination with high peaks to the French Alps over 25 years ago. Today, she balances a life of extreme mountain sports in Chamonix with a career as a dental surgeon and an MBA holder—a testament to her belief that passion and discipline are the foundations of a balanced life.

Minna has been living in Chamonix for years and knows the ins and outs of this incredible region in the French Alps.

On her days off from working as a dental surgeon, she can be found paragliding, skiing, or biking down a mountain, or climbing up one. In this episode, she’ll share what makes Chamonix so intimidating, tips on how to enjoy multiple outdoor activities and which months to visit when you want to avoid the crowds.
