<p>These rugged mountaineering gaiters are made for demanding alpine climbing but work perfectly for all-season mountaineering adventures and expeditions.</p> <p>We use the GORE-TEX&reg; ePE fabric because it is the world-leading environmentally responsible membrane for durable waterproofness, optimized breathability and total windproofness.</p> <p>The GORE-TEX ePE (expanded polyethylene) membrane is a key milestone in the responsible performance journey, providing high-performing, durable products that are engineered for long product life.</p> <p>The GORE‑TEX ePE membrane is light and thin, yet strong, and it's PFAS free with a reduced carbon footprint. To form new GORE‑TEX products, the membrane is combined.</p> <p>Key features include full-length zip which make them easy to take on/off, snap button closure, detachable elastic under-foot cord with durable attachments, silicon at the bottom hem, adjustable straps in both ends to customize the fit and reflective details.
