Washing your GORE-TEX® and dri products will prolong the life of the product. This is how you should wash GORE-TEX® and dri products: Remember to close all zippers and Velcro. The garment should be washed at 40 degrees, with a mild detergent and no softening or rinsing agents. Do not use bleach. Softeners, rinsing agents and bleaches can damage the fabric’s water-resistant properties (not the membrane/waterproofing) and the color of the fabric. Rinse the garment twice, if possible. Use water repellent spray on the outside of the garment after washing for optimal water-resistance (this has nothing to do with the waterproof quality of the garment, but makes it easier for water to roll off the outer fabric). Dry the garment on a low setting in the dryer, if you like, or iron it at a low temperature. Warmth helps to reactivate the waterproofing. The garment must be dry before washing and before being put away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from versatile go to pants The pants are really well made, as are all Norrona products, and the vents and weight work well for spring or warm bluebird days, but in colder temps I just wear thermals under these pants rather than switch to a heaver weight. I'm 6'4 with 34" inseam and it's hard to find pants that run long, ut these definitely do. They are considerably longer than the Norroan Lofoten Gore-Tex pro. waste runs to size, as doze rest of fit - length is only thing that runs larger/longer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect fit, great to wear, and the legs are long enough! I bought them 4 weeks ago and wear them to work on the glacier. They are excellent for skiing and sitting in the office.

I had the rolldal insulated pants in a Large and it was way too big in the legs, but about 2 sizes off in the waist. Would a medium in these fit with a layer underneath, or should I go with a large? I'm 5'9 180lbs with a 32 waist.

    Asked by: Kirk
Hi NYC, I recommend a size M for you. A large will most likely be too big. Especially since the røldal pants were too big in size L. The røldal and tamok pants has a similar fit. Hope this helps. Best regards, Sara – Norrøna Fan Support

I currently own Lofoten Gore-Tex pants in a size S and am looking for a pair of new pants. If the small Lofoten barely has enough room for me in the waist and rear end, should I go with a Medium in the Tamok Gore-Tex because it has a slimmer fit? Thanks!

    Asked by: mike917
Hi mike917, Thanks for your question regarding sizing in the tamok Gore-Tex Pants. I would recommend you to choose size M in the tamok Gore-Tex Pants based on your feedback and reference to the lofoten Gore-Tex pants. The fit is a bit slimmer on the tamok ski pants. I am looking for a slimmer cut gore-tex ski pant. Which model is your more fitted cut of pant?

    Asked by: Robert
Hi Robert, The slimmer fit Gore-Tex ski pants is the Tamok Gore-Tex Pants. One other which is not developed as a ski pant, but is a great allrounder (incl skiing) is the trollveggen Gore-Tex Light Pro pants too. Røldal and Lofoten is a bit more baggy in the fit. Hello I can't decide between L and XL tamok pants. I'm worried L will not be long enough and XL too wide ( I am 188 cm tall 76kg). Whats the difference length wise between L and XL ? Can you give me the outseam length of both sizes ? thanks !

    Asked by: rob92
Hi rob92, Thanks for your question regarding size of the tamok pants. You should go with an L in these pants. I just talked to a colleague of mine, and he is 187 cm/78 kg, wearing a large. XL will be too baggy for you. Inside leg length in L is 87 cm. Best regards, Jens, Norrøna Fan Support

I have a pair of Tamok pants (M) and recently ordered the medium bib.  It states above that they "fit perfectly"  but they don't.  The zip for the bib is 2cm shorter than the zip on the pants.  Should I order a large bib instead?
