Our lightest and most packable down jacket for women. A
warm and comfortable insulation garment that
can be worn by itself or in combination with an
outer jacket when going ski touring. Very high warmth-to-weight ratio
with 170 grams of down distributed on 407 grams
total weight (size medium). Can be compressed
into a Packable Pocket™, has a hood with
one-hand solution and inner pocket.
Our down products use the highest available down quality that we can find, which is a by-product of the food industry (in contrast to being killed just for insulation). All treatment of the birds complies with European standards, and the highly specialized washing of the down passes the Oeko-Tex 100 standards. Our down750™ means down fill power from 750 to 800 cu in/oz with the percentage of down cluster from 93–96%.

Warm and prettyI debated a ton between this and the falketind primaloft100 jacket.
I ended up getting both so here is the difference:
This jacket is definitely warmer. I live in Canada and some days it is down to -10 to -15, even colder when I'm in the mountains.
Unless I'm working out hard, like cross country skiing or ski touring, the primaloft 100 isn't warm enough for those cold days.
Even for sitting in a hockey rink, watching a game, this is much better for the added warmth.
The colour is gorgeous. Other down jackets have made me feel too "puffy" but this one is more forgiving. The arms work well independently of the rest of the jacket so you can be active and not have the entire jacket ride up.

Re-insulatedIt's been one month since I meet my new down jacket, and now I cannot live without it. Comfy and warm forever!

Love this jacketThis is the best and my favourite jacket for layering on colder days. I am 5'10 and 160lbs (athletic build) and I wear the medium - it hits me at the hips and long enough in the arms, a slim through the body (enough room for a mid-layer). It's a versatile jacket that I wear ski touring to downhill to walking the dog. I bought this jacket a couple of years ago, and it was stolen from my vehicle. I looked at other jackets and nothing compared, so I just re-purchased it.

SuperbThese are the best weight to warmth jacket I've ever had. The fit is like no other jacket I've worn. Long enough to cover the right areas and the hood is a must for me. Have worn these jackets for the last 5 seasons and buy a couple every year. You don't feel at all restricted doing all the usual chores. Just can't recommend them enough.

Less good quality than beforeI am disappointed by the drop in quality. The down jacket is less crowded than before, less well cut than previous, months of finishing .... It's a pity. I used to order this down jacket because it was in the best of the market and this is no longer the case ....

Fantastic Fit and FunctionThis jacket is very warm and lightweight. I love the fit; the sleeves are long enough, the hood roomy, the back is longer than the front so it doesn't gap when you bend over or squat, and it's fitted enough that it doesn't look too bulky even though it's a puffy jacket. Lots of great little details such as the rolled cuff, chin guard, long zipper on the pockets, adjustable hood, and even extra stitching at the elbow. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is I worry about durability. After only a month of use, it already has a small abrasion on the upper arm where I must have bumped against something, the stitching near the pocket is starting to come loose, and it does lose quite a few small feathers. I hope it holds up because I love this jacket and already can't imagine my life without it.
I just bought the Norrøna Falketind Gore-Tex Jacket in Small and am interested in purchasing this down jacket for layering underneath. Will the lyngen lightweight down750 Jacket in Small fit under the Norrøna Falketind Gore-Tex Jacket in size Small?
Gefragt von: keren
Yes it should fit. But that also depend on how big the falketind gore-tex jacket is on you. If that jacket is very tight, it can be difficult with any size under, but as long as it has a bit room inside, a Small should fit great :)
Best regards Nina

Hi, I'm travelling from Australia to Norway this winter and I'm not really used to very cold weather. Would this jacket be warm enough for winter weather? I also want to wear it under the Falketind Gore-Tex Jacket (S) - so which size is best?
Gefragt von: Fiona
I have a Bitihorn Dri3 jacket in S and it makes a bit too tight combination with a size S Lyngen down jacket. However, I think that Falketind might be slightly more loosely cut. I wouldn't recommend you taking a size XS of the down jacket if S is your size, just to be able to fit it under your shell, for it might be too tight and therefore too cold.
As for the suitability for winter weather - quite difficult to say, it all depends on your own "chill factor" and of course the winter temperatures in Norway at the time of your travel. Being from Australia, you probably aren't that used to cold temperatures, so I would suggest you get a jacket with more down. Better to play it safe! I'm a Finn and use the Lyngen all year around, but on winter hikes and skitours (temperatures around -15 --30 degrees Celsius) I always take a heavier, warmer jacket.
Hope this helps!

Hi there, I am wondering whether this jacket contains goose or duck down? If it is goose, is it white or grey?
Many thanks for your feedback. Cheers, S

In this jacket we use duck down. The down is certified according to Traumpass and Downpass. In 2017 we will move to the RDS certification, but the current solution guarantees that the animals are treated well, the down is not plucked from live animals, and that they are bred for food. You can read more about our down here: http://norrona.com/en-GB/Corporate-Social-Responsibility/Products/Exclusive-use-of-Downpass--Traumpass/ and http://norrona.com/en-GB/Corporate-Social-Responsibility/Products/Exclusive-use-of-RDS-down/.
