Washing your GORE-TEX® and dri products will prolong the life of the product. This is how you should wash GORE-TEX® and dri products:
Remember to close all zippers and Velcro. The garment should be washed at 40 degrees, with a mild detergent and no softening or rinsing agents. Do not use bleach. Softeners, rinsing agents and bleaches can damage the fabric’s water-resistant properties (not the membrane/waterproofing) and the color of the fabric. Rinse the garment twice, if possible. Use water repellent spray on the outside of the garment after washing for optimal water-resistance (this has nothing to do with the waterproof quality of the garment, but makes it easier for water to roll off the outer fabric). Dry the garment on a low setting in the dryer, if you like, or iron it at a low temperature. Warmth helps to reactivate the waterproofing. The garment must be dry before washing and before being put away.

Perfect for Ski-touring.First time I had the Norrona Lyngen pants was 5 years ago. Now I have my second Lyngen dry-flex pants, I use them for working in snow, and they fit so comfy you will really think you're wearing your pyjamas dressed on. Very lightwear, ergonomic and very good for ski-touring.

Lightweight mountaineering shellLove the super soft and silent fabric - amazing for a waterPROOF shell pants. Great venting possibilities for ascents at higher pace. Thoughtful details in pockets, bib-zipper and closing. Nice colors and super durable equipment

Great fabric, missing on tailoring and featuresI have used these pants for 3 days of skiing powder and 3 days of resort. I find the fabric excellent in terms of waterproofness and breathability (which is of course helped by the long side zippers)
Tailoring is bad - the crotch is too short so the pants waist sits too low, making them slide down a lot. The integrated belt with side Velcro strips is an idea that should be banned for good from all sports pants, I am not able to understand what was wrong with the normal belt and why the sports world needed this innovation.... In this particular model it is very poorly implemented as they use bad quality Velcro that doesn’t stay attached. Also the waist clips are undoing themselves all the time requiring frequent stops for re-adjusting the pants.
The pants have a waist zipper but it is not clear why? There is no Lyngen bib available and the Lofoten bib does not fit, according to Norona’s official explanation on the Lofoten bib page. The state that a Lyngen specific bib will be launched in 2018 - I think this should have been sold together with the pants. I really hope that they launch this bib soon as it may solve most of the problems described above.
The last error in design is the lack of different leg lengths - this only comes in one length and if they’re long you really have no solutions, they can’t be easily shortened because of the side zipper.
The pants don’t have hooks within the pockets to attach keys or other small items, like I have in other skiing or touring pants.
I had to buy them as they were the only option available to me at the moment and I needed waterproof pants urgently. For the eye-watering price I cannot give more than two stars.
I would not buy them again unless the problems with the waist slippage are solved.

I have used the lyngen pants the whole season 16/17 for various types of skiing, and have a new favourite. The pants are very comfortable and flexible. I have used the pants in combination with the Lofoten bib, which is an ok fit. I can highly recommend this product.

Good fitI bought it 2 months ago and I like the fit of the pants.
I don't understand: in the image of the pant laterally I see a full zip that start just under the waist and stop until the foot, in the video I see a half zip that stop just on the knee...
What is the right version?

It is a full zip. Great pant I can recommend it very much

The Bib recommended (https://www.norrona.com/en-GB/products/lofoten/skisnowboard-bib-men/) doesn't mention the pant in the description? Does it still fit? I'd need it for my Lyngen Pants in XL. Thanks in advance.

The Lyngen Driflex3 Pants does not fit perfect with our ski/snowboard Bib, meaning that the exact length of the two zippers won't match perfectly. This means that there will be a difference in the length of the zipper on the Bib compared to the one on the Pants. You will be able to zip them together, but there might be a few centimeters difference. We are launching a Mountaineering Bib in 2018 which will be a perfect fit for the Lyngen and Trollveggen pants.
Thank you for pointing out that our recommendation system in the web shop lists the ski/snowboard Bib as a recommended product for the Lyngen Driflex3 Pants. I'll get this fixed as soon as possible.

Why do these pants have a zipper around the waist? Are they compatible with the lofoten spare bib? If they are, does Norrona still carry a zip-seal powder skirt that zips into the pants as well as the jacket?
Gefragt von: Johnny
The pants have zipper around the waist because you can zip on the lofoten spare part bib.
No we dont have that zip-seal powder skirt anymore. Its out of production unfortunately.

Im 190 cm tall and my weight is 95 kg. Will be size L good for me?
Gefragt von: pp72
Thanks for your question regarding size on the lyngen driflex3 pants. L size should fit you well, and you can adjust the waist width on these pants. The inner leg length on these pants in L size is 85 cm. (Measure from crotch to ankle knuckle).

Hey there, I see a zipper around the waist - what is it for? Is there a bib for the pants, that is sold separately? What size would you suggest for a skinny guy 1.80 m with 72 Kg - normally 31/32 '' jeans fit best for me. Thank you!
Gefragt von: Peschamel
The zipper around the waist is for adding a bib that you can buy separately. For the bib you should order the same size as the pants. Regarding size I would say that a medium will fit you best as it is important that the legs are long enough. The pants can be adjusted in the waist so that should be no problem if it should end up a bit wide.
