<p>This expedition-ready Gore-Tex Pro shell (Men’s Large: 880g) was developed in close cooperation with polar adventurer Børge Ousland, built on his ideas and wishes, combined with a modern Norrøna design aesthetic. It’s made for explorers who demand maximum protection in the harshest arctic environments.</p> <p>We use Gore-Tex Pro ePE in this jacket because it is waterproof, highly breathable, durable, and Storm+ approved.</p> <p>The main material is a 70d plain weave recycled nylon faced Gore-Tex Pro Shell (116g/m²), treated with a C0 DWR for water repellency. It is bluesign® approved, ensuring strict sustainability standards without compromising performance.</p> <p>Key expedition features include a specially developed hood with multiple adjustments and fur compatibility, a double front placket opening with Velcro/snap closure, and a unique Fidlock closure solution at the top of the placket for secure handling with gloves. Storage options include two zipped chest pockets with protective flaps and Velcro, two lower hand pockets with flaps and Velcro, and one zipped inner pocket. The design also features adjustable waist tightening, cuffs, and hem, plus a “crotch cord” for added stability in extreme winds.</p> <p>All tabs are filled with foam, providing a 3D shape and sticky surface for optimal grip even in icy conditions. The articulated construction and regular fit deliver comfort and mobility without compromising on coverage.</p> <p>This jacket has a regular fit.</p>
