<p>This expedition-ready Gore-Tex Pro bib (Men&rsquo;s Large: 800g) was developed in close cooperation with polar adventurer B&oslash;rge Ousland, based on his ideas and wishes, and refined in a modern Norr&oslash;na design aesthetic. It is purpose-built for polar travel, offering uncompromising protection, comfort, and durability in extreme conditions.</p> <p>We use Gore-Tex Pro ePE in this bib because it is waterproof, highly breathable, durable, and Storm+ approved.</p> <p>The main fabric is a 70/160d plain weave recycled nylon faced Gore-Tex Pro Shell (168g/m&sup2;), supported by Gore-Tex stretch in the back panel for mobility. Reinforcements include a 200d recycled nylon Gore-Tex Pro Shell (234g/m&sup2;) and a heavy-duty 3L Nylon/Vectran blend from F.O.V fabrics (350g/m&sup2;), featuring Vectran ripstop in both horizontal and vertical directions for maximum tear resistance. All fabrics are bluesign&reg; approved and treated with C6 DWR for added water repellency.</p> <p>Key expedition features include a double front placket with Velcro/snap closure and a two-way front zip, two zipped chest pockets, and two fleece-lined thigh pockets with protective flaps and Velcro. For mobility and ventilation, the bib features full side zips, a stretch lumbar panel, and adjustable, repairable suspenders. Functionality is further enhanced with stretch snow gaiters, Vectran-reinforced insteps, and reinforced knees with pockets for optional knee protection (patterns available as PDF on our homepage).</p> <p>All tabs are filled with foam to create a 3D shape with a sticky surface for optimal grip in icy conditions. With a regular fit, articulated construction, and expedition-grade reinforcements, this bib is designed to perform under the toughest arctic challenges.</p> <p>This bib has a regular fit.</p>
