From the mountains of the Caucasus and remote valleys to the vibrant streets of Tbilisi, Georgia offers a unique combination of spectacular mountain landscapes, rich culture and a strong sense of adventure.
This evening, Norrøna Ambassador Thomas Klingenberg will take us along on his journey through Georgia last winter. Through photographs, stories and personal experiences, Thomas will share what it was like to travel through the country, explore its mountains and experience Georgia in winter.
Joining Thomas is Norrøna Adventure Guide Marianne Bang Hansen, who will share her perspective from guiding in Georgia. Drawing on her experiences from Norrøna Adventure’s Georgia mountain experience, Marianne will take us behind the scenes of guiding in the Caucasus, from travelling through the region and exploring the mountains around Stepantsminda and Mt. Kazbek, to the challenges, rewards and experiences of leading a group in a new environment.
Together, Thomas and Marianne will share different perspectives on the mountains, people, culture and experiences that make Georgia such a special destination.

Drinks and light food are available for purchase at our café, Naturen, before and after the talk. Norrøna’s Flagship Store is located in the same building and will be open until 21:00.
