Megan Dingman is a professional skier from Park City who transitioned from alpine racing into freeride and big-mountain skiing.
What do you actively do to cut back on your carbon footprint?
To reduce my carbon footprint I actively support companies with the same environmental values, work with brands such as POW and Citizens Climate Lobby. I try to help make environmental changes within our government and society while limiting my own carbon footprint.
Where is your favorite place in the world?
Southern Utah because of its unique landscape. There are endless opportunities for things to do. You can ski, climb, and bike all in one day!
What advice would you give your 10-year-old self?
Don’t try to be someone you’re not. Just because you think that’s what other people like. Even though it’s cliché, being yourself is the coolest thing you can do.
What hobbies do you enjoy participating in?
Mountain biking, climbing, fly fishing, reading
What is/are your hidden talent(s)?
Hitting curbs with my truck :(
If you could choose a superpower, what would it be and why?
To be able to fly. I have always admired birds and have wondered what it’s like to be able to see the world from their vantage point.
