Alpha90 is a technical "active insulation" featuring lofted fibers bonded to a durable mesh core. This open-knit structure allows for extreme air permeability, ensuring heat is released during high-intensity movement while remaining trapped during rest.

Norrøna uses Alpha90 in our technical collections to provide lightweight, hydrophobic warmth that eliminates the need for constant layer shedding during "stop-and-go" alpine activities.

It is built around Polartec® Alpha® Direct technology.
