Seb Michaud is a true legend in the freeride community starting with powder turns as a three-year-old toddler and participating in freeride competitions since the 90's. His passion for the sport is now stronger than ever and he is an inspiration to the new generation of skiers.
- At this time, my biggest drive is to share my experience with the junior groups I coach during the winter. It's my new adrenaline.
Despite being a father, guide, coach and having decades of skiing on his repertoire, Seb is far from fully trained. Every day in the mountains provides new knowledge which he can pass on to new generation of skiers. And for Seb, safety is the essential factor.
A good freerider is a freerider alive.
What made you go all in and pursue this as your lifestyle?
- The passion of skiing and discovering new country, people, culture pushed me a lot. Nature is also a place that brings me energy every single day. She has always though me to remain humble in all situations.
