Windproofness rating

These products feel completely windproof in strong wind, even when it's cold. Some wind perforation through the seams and zippers may occur since these products are not taped. Most of the products have a windproofing membrane, the rest have a fabric construction which proves excellent shield.

Very wind resistant products, with experienced effectiveness of 80 % wind block in fresh breeze. Tightly knitted or "boned" fabrics with wind protective properties. Will work very well if being active when it’s windy.

Moisture transportation rating

6:
Products with great moisture transportation. The garment will soak up none to very little moisture, just pull it quickly through the layer. The product dries in a just a few minutes if it is hung up and still rapid if kept on. Perfect for high-intensity activities and very warm days outdoors.

Products with good moisture transportation. The garment will soak a little moisture, but this will pull quite quickly through the layer. The product dries in 15-30 minutes if it is hung up and uses a bit more time more on the body. Suitable for high-intensity activities and warm days outdoors.

Products with efficient moisture transportation. Will dry up relatively quickly when worn or hung up.

Products with sufficient moisture transportation which will need some time to dry up when worn or hung up.
