Polartec® Power Shield® was developed to find a greater balance between weather resistance and personal comfort. By integrating an advanced micro-porous membrane between a durable weather repelling exterior we created a resilient outerwear fabric with increased breathability. The ability to block wind and water was finally directly integrated with a surface technology that could consistently increase breathability during any activity
Polartec® Alpha® is the latest evolution of synthetic insulation offering a rare combination of lightweight warmth and true breathability in a "puffy" style garment. Because Polartec Alpha insulation is highly durable and more stable than other synthetic insulation products, more open-construction woven face and back fabrics can be selected to create an air permeable package. This small amount of airflow rapidly draws moisture away from the body and allows Polartec Alpha to be worn in a wider range of activities compared to classic "vapor barrier" style insulation.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn’t Fit - Not Even Close!!! This jacket didn’t fit! I wear an XL and ended up having to buy another jacket from Moutain Hardware - an XL and guess what? It fit!!! I thought I was getting a product from Norway where a men’s XL would fit a 6’1 195 lb American. The Norrona jacket was made in Vietnam. Very disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Genial Ei genial jakke du an bruke til alt. Har hatt den som mellomlag på skitur. Shopping på kjøpesenter og 2 t tur i sludd uten å bli svett, blaut, varm eller kald. Ei allround jakke som veger og tar lite plass.. Verd penga..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everyday garment for skitouring. I´ve been using the garment since February. Hard to leave home when out touring. Has great features with excellent deep hood, perfect pockets and venting in the front. I basically wear it as a combination of "shell "layer and insulation when it is dry for skitouring. I wear it all day. If it is to warm I take it of and tour only in base layer. The polartec-alfa is super efficient on moving heat and sweat. It is light and fairly packable. Bring a lightweight Gore-tex jacket and you´re set for all kinds of missions

I like to buy a lofoten range jacket, I am 188cm tall, chest 93, hip 83, seat 93, arm length 63, which size jacket do you recommend? I tried on an M and the arm length appeared to be somewhat long, couldn’t trie size S though.

    Asked by: Sibren
Hello, The fit of the jacket is a little bit big but it is a ferried jacket. Yes sure you can try small size and the harms will be ok! Thanks

Hi, I'm wondering if you will sell again the lofoten gore-tex primaloft jacket.

    Asked by: Anonymous
Hi AleAnge. Thank you for your question regarding this jacket. This lofoten gore-tex primaloft jacket, will be back next fall with the name “ lofoten gore-tex insulated jacket” which also features the same PrimaLoft insulation. Additionally, it contains 2-layer shell fabric. Stay tuned at our website for the release next year! Hope this information was helpful. Best regards, Anette/Norrøna Fan Support

Hi, can you please confirm how this jacket compares with the Lofoten Gore-Tex Primaloft from previous years. I am particularly interested in the comparison of warmth, durability and breathability. Regards, Rob

    Asked by: Anonymous
Hello, Compared to the Lofoten Gore-Tex Primaloft this jacket has way higher breathability, but slightly less durability and warmth. All in all, the Lofoten Gore-Tex Primaloft Jacket is supposed to be a waterproof, very warm and durable skiing jacket. The Lofoten Polartec Alpha Pro Jacket on the other hand is water resistant, warm, decently durable and very breathable skiing jacket. The Lofoten Polartec Alpha Pro allows for way more moisture management, and the product is also very light weight and packable. I hope this was helpful. Best regards, Alexander - Norrøna Fan Support

Lurer på hvor mye vann denne jakken tåler?

    Asked by: Trond
Polartec Powershield pro har en membran, og har en vannsøyle på 5000mm. Så noe vann tåler den :)
