More about GORE-TEX® Pro
Washing your GORE-TEX® and dri products will prolong the life of the product. This is how you should wash GORE-TEX® and dri products:
Remember to close all zippers and Velcro. The garment should be washed at 40 degrees, with a mild detergent and no softening or rinsing agents. Do not use bleach. Softeners, rinsing agents and bleaches can damage the fabric’s water-resistant properties (not the membrane/waterproofing) and the color of the fabric. Rinse the garment twice, if possible. Use water repellent spray on the outside of the garment after washing for optimal water-resistance (this has nothing to do with the waterproof quality of the garment, but makes it easier for water to roll off the outer fabric). Dry the garment on a low setting in the dryer, if you like, or iron it at a low temperature. Warmth helps to reactivate the waterproofing. The garment must be dry before washing and before being put away.

100 % fail in quality and serviceFirst the lower part of the pants fall in pieces and got holes so I send them in and Norrøna tried to blame me. They pointed it out it would have been crapons making these holes. So I send in several photos me wearing crampons with these pants so it was clear there is no way that was what happen.
The pants came back and they basicly just put fabric on top so now the 600 Dollar pants look like work wear.
But the best part less then a week later the complete stitching opend up. So now they are again no usable. I was sure there products are quality but they proofed me wrong.
So now the shop where I handed them in and they where lying there for almost a montn now because Norrøna refused to take them because they have to be washed before.
I gonna wash them send them in and hopefully get my oney back. Me this company never again !

Works fine, lasts a long time !I bought these pants in October 2014. I use them for snow sport teaching. I use them about 100 days a year. Although they have faded a bit, they work very well. I have redone the water proofing and they are are still very dry after a day in the rain.
These bibs are Bomber when you want to be outside in all Winter conditions !

The one I neededI just tried these pants for skiing in the French Alps. Given the relatively low temperatures (-10/15°C), I also worn a "wool Longs" from Norrona. The combination of the two was perfect. Protecting against cold, but very light and convenient. Pockets and zips at the right place. Just a little warning: the shape on the legs is a bit baggy (that may be due to the fact that I'm not built like a model, thought).

Great for adventuresI have spent a lot of time searching for the perfect adventure pant that could come along on short and longer winter adventures on skis, both back country and ski randonée.
I wanted a durable pant with bibs, pockets, that could be taken on/off with boots on and with a feature that facilitates going to the toilet without taking lots of clothes off. This might be one of the only pants I have found with this feature! But, I'm not totally satisfied. The back zipper (that allows for the drop seat function) is mal placed. Its difficult to use with gloves on and hard to zip up.

The classic redefined!I bought my first trollveggen bib in 2001 and for me this product is the ultimate mountaineering pant. As I am more into ski mountaineering this pant is the bomber. The bib solution gives great comfort and extra storage for gadgets you need on a day in the mountain. The fit is perfect for randonee use and I use with my Scarpa Maestrale boots when skiing. Further, the ventilation opportunities are great when walking upwards. A comfortable and durable mountain pant!
What size would you recommend for me? I am 171 cm high - and 77 kilos! + is there any way to get legs shortened, as the legs on my trousers are always too long... Thanks
Asked by: Dudu
The size often depends on your waist size, and there is very little we can do with shortening the legs on these pants as they have a full side zipper.
However, there are some pants like the Lofoten Gore-Tex Pro Light Pants which does not have a full length side zipper, meaning that we can adjust the length on them. If you want help with that, contact firstname.lastname@example.org

Are these available in XXL? If so, when will they be available?
Asked by: Jyornan
Unfortunately, the trollveggen gore-tex pro bib pants are not produced in size XXL. As an alternative, we have the Trollveggen gore-tex light pro pants in XXL and the recon Gore-Tex pro pants.

How do these fit compared to the Lofoten Pants? I'm considering ordering these but I could only find Lofoten to try, which is quite roomy in L.
Main use is snowboarding. I'm 185cm and ~79kg, and according to the size chart I'm between M and L.
Asked by: backdoorman
The trollveggen Gore-Tex Pro pants have a slimmer fit than the lofoten Gore-Tex Pro pants. It is made as an alpine climbing pants for harsh conditions and does also perform well for snowboarding and ski touring. The inside leg length of the trollveggen pants in M is 86 cm and in L it is 88 cm. (measure from crotch to ankle knuckle). My recommended size for you is L. (The model in the video is 189cm / 85 kg an wears L)
