Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great light jacket I'm doing a lot of mountains tours (alpinism and ski touring).. I need strong clothes because I use it very hard.. At first I wasn't sure to take a light jacket, but don't worry it's a very good product! I like it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket I purchased this jacket after exhaustive research of many well known brands including Arc'teryx and North Face. I used it for snow skiing and snowmobiling in temps below 30 degrees in Vail, Colorado. If layered properly, this is the only jacket you will ever need. Excellent quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light and Nicely designed jacket I have now put around 20 hours to this jacket and overall Im really happy to with this product. The Idea for me was to have a product that I can use trough the whole year and I think I made a good decision. The hood is big enough and the tightening is good. Details and cuts are well thought, arms can move freely and when lifted up the lower part of the jacket wont rice and your wrists will stay hidden. The zippers are quite light but they feel solid and I hope they can take the repeats put to them. All so the velcros at the wrist are easy to use and can be tightened easily. The jacket is a bit roomy so you can comfortable put more layers under it. I have also bought same model pants.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Feeling of an extra very protective skin layer! Bought on the internet, perfect delivery service. Perfect protektion in rain and wind. The zipper construction in the armpits is the best opening from top or bottom. Much better ventilation than the usual construction. LOve it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great investment I bought waterproof jacket and at first I was a bit unsure it was worth the money. Having used it for more than a month now in some rough weather I can say I am very very happy with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing jacket Bought this about 3 months ago and it has done everything I would expect it to. Kept me dry on the Scottish mountains and west coast (which is very wet!) and the English Lake District Fells. Can't find a fault with it...and get alot of questions where I bought it too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The one that does it all! This jacket represents all Norrøna stands for with its Loaded Minimalism design philosophy. It is the ultimate lightweight rugged mountaineering jacket for multiple areas of use. I use it for ski touring and mountaineering in general. The jacket has a long length making it ideal for skiing even without the snow skirt, further it has super functionality in terms of movement in the shoulders. The reason why I can give it a score already now is the fact that I've tested the prototypes and the test samples leading to final product.

Hi, what is the difference between Trollveggen Gore-tex Pro and Trollveggen Gore-tex Light Pro products? Both seem to use the same Gore-tex pro membrane? Is the former using a N80p Gore-tex Pro and the latter a N40? Thx!

Asked by: Kristof
Hi Kristof, you are correct, both jackets have the same PRO membrane. The Trollveggen Gore-Tex Pro Jacket has a 80 denier, 162g/m2 fabric, while the Trollveggen Gore-Tex Light Pro Jacket has a 40 denier, 135g/m2 fabric. Both fabrics are strong, however the 80 denier is the most durable of the two choices. Hope this answers you question. Regards, Nanna, Material Developer at Norrøna Sport
