A classic wool jacket for all kinds of outdoor use for men.
What´s better than zipping up a good old wool jacket
before you enter the outdoors? The fabric is a perfect
mix of wool and polyester which combines breathability
and durability in one. The wool fibers provide
great temperature regulation while the polyester
offers quick-dry functionality and durability. This is a
cozy and insulating piece with a high collar, cuffs and
hand warming pockets. This product is regular fit.
The warm 280 g/m2 fabric features reprocessed wool from old garments. The brushed inside layer is made by soft polyester to make it comfortable.
40 % reprocessed wool, 40% polyester, 18% nylon, 2% other fibers.
Reprocessed wool means that it is reprocessed from old garment to be used in new garment, which is good for the environment.

Slim FitNice jacket but the fit is not 'regular' at all. I have other 'Svalbard' tops that are designated 'regular fit' as well as 'Trollveggen' and 'Bitihorn' items. I am also ok with other brands in 'trim fit' or 'slim fit' but this is way too tight in the body and the arms, especially for a jacket, and it is definitely not what is termed 'athletic fit'. A shame, as the jacket is very nice. I honestly think there is a trend at Norrona to adapt their clothing to the Asian markets, which is sad for some of us (however, tall skinny people will be well-served by this design). Also, being mostly wool, this jacket would probably get even smaller with washing ...

Genius garmentThis is my new favorite.
I’m planning to buy one more.
I live and works in Valdres, Norway 1000 meter over sea level and I’m outside all day.
I use to have this jacket in my backpack and when I’m really sweat I’m changing and use this one as base layer. If it’s really cold I us a fleece over and then my Norrøna Røldal jacket.
This combination works extremely well for me.
For normal use it’s comfortable, but for everyday mountaineering it could be the big difference...

Warm and airyIm using this under my Norrona Recon Pro Jacket to be warm in all kinds of weather, and it works absolutely well up in Northern Norway. Its also perfect as a outerjacket when its warmer weather because of the wool and it is airy. When hunting in the woods its not noisy at all.

Not bad, but...Very comfortable. But the collar is not enough contiguous to the neck, because of this it is not protected from the wind completely, it causes discomfort.
My sweater wool contains 65 % rather than 40 % as indicated in the description on the site (maybe I have a previous version).
But Norrona is still the best)
