Washing your GORE-TEX® and dri products will prolong the life of the product. This is how you should wash GORE-TEX® and dri products: Remember to close all zippers and Velcro. The garment should be washed at 40 degrees, with a mild detergent and no softening or rinsing agents. Do not use bleach. Softeners, rinsing agents and bleaches can damage the fabric’s water-resistant properties (not the membrane/waterproofing) and the color of the fabric. Rinse the garment twice, if possible. Use water repellent spray on the outside of the garment after washing for optimal water-resistance (this has nothing to do with the waterproof quality of the garment, but makes it easier for water to roll off the outer fabric). Dry the garment on a low setting in the dryer, if you like, or iron it at a low temperature. Warmth helps to reactivate the waterproofing. The garment must be dry before washing and before being put away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Fit and Function Love the stretchy, soft and breathable fabric that doesn't get stiff or make a lot of noise in the cold. The added details like the asymmetric cuffs that extend farther on the back of the hand and the hand gaiters with thumb holes are appreciated. Wish it had a small pocket on the sleeve for chapstick or ski pass too. Hood is nice and roomy and fits over my helmet without any difficulty. It is longer in back than the front so it doesn't gap when you bend over or squat. It's fairly fitted, but still enough room for long johns and a mid layer, just don't expect anything too bulky to fit underneath.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality, comfy fitting!! Suits spring skiing perfectly! I love the slightly strechy textile, it practically feels like wearing nothing as it’s so light and follows the movements so delightfully ❤️

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic product, one minor fault When first handling the Lyngen jacket, it feels very stretchy and soft. I love the cut and design, long underarm ventilation zippers for dumping heat on the way up without having to unbuckle my pack. I checked it skiing in Austria, Switzerland and Kazakhstan, windpoof, waterproof fabric keeps me dry :) So Norrona Lyngen Driflex3 jacket looks like an excellent choice for ski tourers. There is only one problem, my jacket starts to bobble. It looks not nice, definitely. I have to do something, but I'm affraid to take off the pills, I don't want to destroy the fabric. Is there a way to take off the pills that will not ruin the jacket? I do not expect such a problem, before this, I was using Lofoten Gore-Tex for three years. And it was perfect choice.

Does this jacket have a snow skirt? Or the option for a snow skirt?

    Asked by: Elaine
This jacket has a built in snow skirt. I have this jacket in a small. I am 5'5" and 115 lbs. It fits beautifully (I have room for a fitted down jacket underneath). I wear the jacket for skinning, on piste and backcountry skiing and I absolutely love it.

Hi, is it possible to fit underneath a lofoten super lightweight down Jacket or falketind PrimaLoft60 Jacket? Thanks.
