These specially designed fabrics have all the attributes we expect in a Soft Shell: stretch, water-repellency, wind resistance and excellent moisture vapour transportation.
A stretch fabric for outer shell jackets, Gore Windstopper® Soft Shell protects against cool winds and provides great flexibility of movement. The fabric offers great breathability for high-energy activities, and is impregnated to aid water repellency, although not entirely waterproof. Built to withstand rough treatment for a long time. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great spring glove Use them both uphill and downhill when skiing in spring conditions, but even if they are made for a good fit when on, the cuffs are too narrow. There must be a better solution to this since I find it a bit time consuming and frustrating when putting them on. It takes too much energy just getting the hand in. With a Velcro opening or similar they would be perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The One I needed for splitboarding layering I searched gloves that I can use under my Svalbard Mitt, thin and absolutely strong for using bucles, bindigs and tools when it's cold and windy in splitboard activities. It's the One. I took it in the Orange colorway, that give an other good point if you need to make signs to helicopter or far away people.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this gloves Have used them so far for ski mountaineering tours with temperatures around 0°C and my hands were warm. For more static outdoor activities consider to use this gloves at higher temperatures as they are thin. For me it is somehow tight to put my fist in but once you do these gloves feels excellent on my hands.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice light softshell glove Good for the uphill on a ski tour especially in spring conditions. Durable light material that protects the hands from getting wet. Minimum insulation that prevents hands from overheating during high aerobic activities. only downside is the cuffs are not adjustable or very elastic so it is difficult to get your hands into the glove.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and durable Really good for outdoor activities that you need good use of your hands. I wear these mountain biking and climbing and they work great! Very durable. Judging by the size guide I bought the medium but would have been much better off with small.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best lightweight gloves ever These gloves are versatile and durable. I have used them for mountaineering and for single-track bicycling. Nothing to beat them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Useful leightweight glove These gloves are great for winter morning runs, biking, belaying on a multi-pitch stance, and skinning in a chilly wind. Leightweight enough to stuff in a chest pocket, when pulled out they are ready warmed for when the wind picks up as you arrive at a col and take off skins, dextrous enough to demonstrate crevasse rescue, fiddling with prussiks and pulleys, and in bright red, great for hand signals too!
