Operational and functional follow-up system to improve CSR standards at factories based on 3rd party audit findings

Norrøna promotes a fair and responsible production of goods, and it is important for us to follow-up and cooperate with our suppliers to achieve this

We have implemented an audit cycle, and the findings from these audits are important to us. The follow-up of the findings is done in close cooperation with our suppliers, and we wish to structure this process better than it has been before. The follow-up entails an action plan with deadlines that we monitor. We do this to promote a fair and responsible supply chain, and we are more likely to achieve results. In addition all our personnel related to our production will be trained in environmental and ethical risks so they can identify gaps when visiting factories.

We are piloting the solution, and will review this in Q3 2016. If approved the follow-up process will be implemented in Q4 2016.

  • Aim to introduce new follow-up scheme and having trained all personnel by Q1 2016
  • % of factories where findings from audits have been followed-up in a structured manner, and changes have been made according to findings
