Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great jacket ! This year, in the Alps, we had a very cold season with extreme conditions up to -20 degrees. On the advice of my snowboard teacher, I bought my first Norrona Jacket. What a surprise to see that the quality is definitely here. This jacket kept me warm and dry the entire snow season. It is very confortable to wear, you are free in your "movements" and the multiples pockets are very pratical. The only downside that I can tell it is the sleeves are a bit too long and large for me (I'am 5 ft 3 inches tall). The zipper can also be a bit difficult to slide at the beginning My boyfriend is waiting forward to buy the Roldal Jacket for the next seasons. We just have to wait until the jacket comes back in stock in size S for him!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps me warm and dry I bought this after the blizzard we had in Boston. It has worked great for me. Keeps me warm and dry. I wear a fleece underneath on cold days. I’m 5’5 130 pounds and small is perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic addition This is my fourth Gore tex Primaloft Norrona jacket and it’s such a great addition to my wardrobe. The colour is true to image, lovely bright blue. For casual everyday wear, it’s not as warm as my /29 Parka, but I just wear it with /29 wool jackets as mid layer in sub zero temperatures and I don’t feel the cold at all. There and lots of storage pockets and the usual quality finish you would expect from Norrona.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great all around ski jacket, but a broken zipper on the first day Overall great ski jacket, but extremely pricey. Hope you keep it for a long time, so will have to pass the test of time eventually. Pros: - Gore-tex outer fabric keeps you dry - Soft inner lining, light insulation that is warm enough to wear only base layer at -10C - Lined hand pockets (this one deserves an extra star) - Microfiber wipe for googles in chest pocket - Hoodie going high on your face, blocks the wind - Hand gaiters that you can slip under your gloves, preventing snow to get in... - Design. Let's be real, minimalist, elegant, modern, yet sport. Cons: - Cheap zipper on the powder skirt This is where this jacket loses one star. Being made for freestyle and big mountain, the powder skirt is a must and now needs repairs after only one outing, as the slider came off. - It is not that obvious from the pictures how long this jacket is. Looks like ready to hit the park. For reference, I bought the Large for extra room. It runs large and I am 5'7 and 160 lbs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best jacket I really love the norrona products. The quality is excellent, and the design also. That's my best winter clothes brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect! Ultra-technical jacket in addition to being beautiful and having an almost urban look, comfortable, very protective (long cut, outer coating very resistant to abrasion, rising collar), the hood is enormous to be able to pass over the helmet (It can hinder some by skiing but is essential for the chilly ones like me who want to protect themselves from the icy wind for a lift in chairlift or in case of heavy weather). The jacket is packed with pockets, the snowproof skirt looks very solid, the hand-gaiters are seamless so very comfortable. The hood clamping and loosening systems are Norrona-style: everything can be done with one hand, even with huge mittens. As for the cut, it is very long and especially straight, I would not strongly recommend this jacket to a girl with small shoulders and wide hips, but rather to girls pruned in H. (Normally Norrona waists perfectly for girls Having broad shoulders and narrow hips, the top of the bust being quite wide). Although cut for tall girls, I still took one (I barely 1m60 [5,2 US]), and I had to take an M because the S corresponds to the European 36 so rather narrow. So it's really long, especially in the sleeves, but still ok, considering the cuts of freestyle snowboard jackets that we see nowadays in snowparks and on the slopes, that does not shock.

I bought your lofoten goretex pants L. They are a bit big, so i think this jacket L should be good, i wonder though if the pants and jacket powder skirt will match?
