Rated 5 out of 5 by from lightweight, comfy and very good breathability this jacket is very comfortable to wear. good freedom of movement, stretchy and still a great fit. i am 1.74m with about 108cm chest and the jacket (xl) fits nicely, relaxed, neither too tight nor loose with one midlayer. i could add a second layer for very cold days. the manufacturing quality is very good and the product looks and feels valuable. i did not use it for ski touring yet. but the different zones of driflex and flex1 material make absolutely sense to me for almost all winterweather condition. if it's pouring down rain you might get wet at the back and want a hardshell instead. i'll use this jacket on 95% of my skitouring trips. the color "cool black" might you make expecting a blackish garment. but it's more a nice looking smoke grey. i actually like it as i don't want black-black clothes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely jacket I will not call this jacket a winterjacket, I could wish it was more windproof for my use of it,but it doesnt say its supposted to be totaly windproof, So its okey. Works good in cool weather down to -7 celsius if not windy and good clothes beneith. Really happy with it in general.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! Very good quality I bought it a month ago and it seems great. I'll use it as a jacket in the ski slope. One thing I like very much is how the sleeves are made, no snow will come in as it is completely tight against the glove.

Hi there, for skiing in bad weather conditions (heavy snow), which one between the lyngen hybrid and the falketind gore-tex would you recommend? My main concern is to not feel that the jacket is getting heavy and humid after a few hours. Best regards

    Asked by: dionysis
I have a number of jackets from Norrona, I would use either of the jackets, but normally in better weather or for ski touring. I have just got back from Switzerland where there has been lots of snow, (some wetter than one would like) and I used my Lofoton Pro Jacket. In my opinion the best jacket for the conditions I think you are talking about. They are all great and sometimes it does come down to personal choice.

Hello, Does this jacket is ok in all weather conditions ? I mean, is it still performant after heavy snow falls ? Thanks for answer

    Asked by: Jopatero
Hi Jopatero! Thank you for your question regarding this ski touring jacket. This jacket is very durable and has good weather protection. Exposed areas as hood, shoulders and arms are completely waterproof. Additionally, the jacket has a flex1 material for good breathability. So yes, it can stand heavy snow falls. To keep you warm we can recommend our baselayer and a fleece as midlayer. Both you can find in our webshop. Hope this answer was clarifying for you. Best regards, Anette/Norrøna Fan Support

Hi, I just bought this jacket and I'm very happy about it. However I thought it would have been a bit warmer. Could you suggest an additional layer to put between this one and the power stretch pro hoodie I bought? Just for those very cold days! Thanks!

    Asked by: Edoardo
Hi Edoardo, Thanks for your question about layering beneath the lyngen driflex jacket. We have two different fleece jackets which will suit well with this jacket, which is lofoten warm1 and lofoten warm2. Warm2 is a bit thicker than the warm1. The lofoten warm2 fleece sweater is my go-to fleece jacket for all skiing and ski touring activity. It is soft, warm, with a good fit and it is light. The warmest fleece we have is the trollveggen warm2. Warm: Warmer: (My first choice) Warmest: Best regards, Jens Norrøna Fan Support

Hello, I have a question about the colours. The blue colour in the picture is not the same kind of blue as in the video, is that correct? Are both blue colours available or is it just one? If one, which exactly? Thanks!

    Asked by: bvanhouts
Hi bvanhouts, The light blue color is the correct color for the jacket. The darker blue color was last season color, and the pictures of that is now removed. We will add more pictures of the correct color as soon as possible, but for now you will know the color by looking at the blue version which is visible on this page now.
