THE NORRØNA GUARANTEE
Norrøna’s products have a 5-year guarantee on production defects. Damage resulting from wear and use is not covered by Norrøna’s guarantee, but can be repaired for a fixed price. If a customer has problems with a Norrøna product, they should return it to the store where it was purchased. All Gore-Tex products have an additional “Guaranteed To Keep You Dry” Gore-Tex® guarantee.
*A production defect is a built-in deficiency. This means a defect that existed at the time the customer bought the product. A production defect will normally reveal itself very quickly.
Processing time for claims
For products with defects that are covered by Norrøna’s 5-year guarantee, the Gore-Tex guarantee or other standard claims as allowed by the consumer purchases law, processing time will be a maximum of 14 days from when we receive the product to when it is returned.
NORRØNA’S GUARANTEE PROCEDURE
All guarantee cases and claims resulting from production defects must be reported to the store were you purchased the product. They will send your product to Norrøna for approval. The product will either be repaired or replaced by Norrøna. In the event the problem is not covered by a guarantee or a claim, Norrøna can repair the product for a fee.
GORE-TEX GUARANTEE
Gore- Tex® guarantees that your GORE-TEX® garment performs as advertised that it is wind and waterproof, and simultaneously breathes. This guarantee is good for all products that have a Guaranteed To Keep You Dry® tag. A defect in the membrane will always be obvious quickly and is covered by the guarantee policy. This does not apply to leaks resulting from use and wear. In such cases, an individual examination of the products condition, age and other factors will be decisive in determining if any replacement or compensation is in order.
