Pillow line by photographer Kari Medig

Norrøna Magazine photographer Kari Medig put together this fantastic video of a most unusual pillow line ridden with the lofoten pants and lyngen jacket.

"Here's a show I put together for the 2010 Coldsmoke photo competition that happens every year here in Nelson BC. It was inspired by an amazing stop motion concept and technique used by Tel Aviv based photographer Eyal Landesman. I took it a step in a different direction that gave me a chance to show the world of skiing in a different way. Money's awarded were donated to Medicin san Frontiers Haiti Earthquake Relief and Reporters Without Borders. Enjoy!"

Norrøna Magazine at Borgafjäll, Sweden

With the summer 2010 issue of Norrøna Mag launched and available at Norrøna dealers all over Europe, editor in chief Eivind Eidslott has fully shifted his focus to the making of issue #4, coming out with our 2010/11 winter collection.

Skiers Magnus Tveito, Even Sigstad and Torkel Karoliussen checked out the not very well known resort of Borgafjäll in the north of Sweden a while ago. Together with photographer Mattias Fredriksson, they came home with a good story and some great shots that you'll see in the magazine next fall.

As Borgafjäll is the only place in Scandinavia with Heliskiing, Cat-skiing and lift-based skiing all out of the same resort, we had to try it all. Up high the views were spectacular in good weather and cold, clear air, while further down the snow quality was better, especially in the trees after a little snowfall.
