Our ambassadors in the rest of the world

Seth Hobby

Mountain Guide

Seth grew up in the Cascade Mountains of Washington, USA, getting into mountaineering at an early age and guiding from 2000 at the age of 20.

Now based in Lofoten, Seth is learning the language and becoming more and more Norwegian every day, even though he still spends large parts of the year guiding in other parts of the world, from Alaska to Nepal, specializing in technical routes and alpine style ascents.

Michael "Bird" Shaffer

Freeskier and extreme lifestylist

From the Pacific North West to the European Alps, there is always the chance that you’ll run into Shaffer, or someone who knows “the bird”.

With a giant wingspan, and flight patterns across to nests all around the globe, feathers from “the bird” can be found in almost any corner of the world, at least in the “high energy zones” connected to the freeride and action sport spirit.
