The jacket is put together from two types of waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® stretch fabrics: Soft Shell in the broad panels for some insulation; Pro Shell for vulnerable spots like the hood, wrist gaiters and snow skirt to ensure that snow does not stick, as well as lowering the weight. The large vents give access to inner pockets.
