Welcome to trollveggen
Trollveggen is the highest vertical
cliff in Europe, looming 1,000 metres from top to bottom. The history
of climbing here is dramatic. Since the first ascent in 1965, alpinists
have pushed the limits of what’s possible in this vertical realm. In
1979 Norrøna developed Europe’s first GORE-TEX climbing jacket – and
called it trollveggen, of course. Only a year later, three Norwegian
climbers wore trollveggen outerwear for two weeks during the first-ever
winter ascent of Trollveggen’s Swedish Route. Since then, Norrøna’s
trollveggen collection has been the first choice of mountaineers. These
are tough clothes that maximize mobility in steep and difficult terrain.
Innovative security details make trollveggen the best-performing alpine
apparel available today.
